Cinnamon Roll Monkey Bread
Call this a semi-homemade recipe, if you will. It's a crowd-pleaser and oh so easy. I like to make it for company along with an egg-based breakfast casserole and I've never had any complaints!
Cinnamon Roll Monkey Bread Recipe
2 cans (yes cans) of refrigerated cinnamon rolls
1/4 cup heavy cream (you can use milk)
1 T vanilla extract
Grease a pie pan with butter or non-stick cooking spray and set aside. Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into fourths. Set aside the icing. In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs, cream, and vanilla extract. Let the pieces of cinnamon roll soak in the egg mixture for at least 30 minutes, up to to overnight. Remove the cinnamon roll pieces and place in the pie pan. Bake for 25 minutes at 350, or until browned and a tester comes out clean from the center. Immediately ice with the set aside icing. This is best served warm and is sure to impress your friends and family!
